Gretel takes Winner's Bitch and 2 CH points in Southaven, MS

   Today in Southaven, MS, Lost Island's Twisted Sister "Gretel", was WB for 2 points toward her Champion title! I am just so pleased with her behavior lately and love that she is really starting to enjoy showing and strutting about :) I just wish she wasn't so focused when she stacks that she doesn't put her tail up then too! Congratulations to everyone else who did well this weekend! I really enjoyed spending time talking dogs with friends and had a wonderful time in Mississippi! Hope to see you all at the show in Marion, IL!

Welcome to Juno's two lovely boys sired by our own CH Mojito!

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of two fabulously colored boys from Papa's Lost Island Tempest "Juno" by Am./Can. CH Laud Mister Mojito "Mojito"! We had hoped for lovely colors, as Mojito is known for producing blues and chocolates, but never expected a find like this. A blue spotted on white boy and a chocolate boy! This marks our first Champion sired litter at True Shot, and we could not be more excited about the results!

We will be evaluating these boys for show potential as they grow and will be updating the Available Now page with pictures and videos. Please check back often to see their progress!

Mojito is now an American Champion!!!

    This weekend in Paducah, KY was fantastic all around! Mojito won Best of Winners on Saturday for 2 more points, giving him 12 points and 1 major. On Sunday, he took BOW again for a 3 point cross over major that completed his American CH! We finished 1 year later at the same show we began at together! Such a great feeling to have our first Champion here at True Shot. Gretel was 3rd of 3 in open class both days, and although she showed well on Saturday, Sunday was her best performance yet! I have decided, based on her show record, to hold off on showing Gretel for some time and give her a chance to mature more before considering continuing her show career. She will likely be bred in Spring of 2013 to a lovely stud already chosen for her! Harmony's Rudy Wakening - Rudy, the Tibetian Spaniel I am handling for Mary Hahn, was Best of Breed both days and showed VERY well for me in groups! Rudy is such a delight to show and I am so thankful to have him here with us! This weekend was wonderful. Great friends were everywhere and we had so much fun spending time with everyone, meeting new friends and enjoying time with old. Thank you so much to everyone for your help and support... not just now but throughout the entire last year!

   Well another fantastic weekend at the dog show! Mojito was WD and BOS over a special for another 2 points toward his American champion! That puts him at 10 points and 1 major! The closer we get to his CH the more excited I get about it :) Gretel was 2nd of 2 in the open class... apparently she saw monsters while on the table :) That's alright tho, as its the first time she wasn't very well behaved. The Tibbie I'm handling, Rudy, was Res. WD and showed very well. So pleased with this show, and so glad to spend the day visiting with great friends and making new ones! Also a special shout out to my wonderful fella, Jamie, for accompanying me and helping me out so much! No one could be as loving and supportive as you :) Really looking forward to this weekend, hope to see you all there! Congrats to the winners and best of luck to you all.

Another win for True Shot - Sun May 27th in Bloomington, IL!

     Sunday May 27th found Mojito, Gretel and I in Bloomington, IL to brave the heat for another awesome day at the dog show! Miss Gretel showed wonderfully and, as she was the only bitch present, was awarded WB. Mojito, an eye catcher in the ring with his steadfast ring manners and flashy in it to win it attitude, was awarded WD, BOW, and BOS for 1 more point toward his American CH. I am absolutely thrilled with the behavior and performance I have received from these two! I had an absolutely wonderful time, was able to spend time with great friends, and congratulations to you all. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon, as its always a pleasure.

Best of Variety Sunday May 20th in Jackson, TN!

So thrilled with this show! Mojito took Best of Variety on Sunday May 20th for one more point toward his Champion! :) Gretel was Res. WB, and both were awesome in the ring for me. I took Mojito in for the toy group (my favorite place to show him) and didn't make the cut but had SO much fun watching my little man put on such a show for everyone! Mo really enjoys all that attention and applause :) Its such a treat to watch him really strut himself out there. I'm so proud of him! Also, Rudy, the Tibetian Spaniel I'm handling, showed absolutely beautifully, and won everything but Breed, as he was the only class tibbie present... but he did such a great job I'm really so pleased with him as well. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much in Jackson as I did! Great to see you all, and really looking forward to Bloomington next weekend! Good luck everyone :)

Jefferson Co. Show at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO

Sunday, May 6th, Mojito, Gretel, and I showed at Purina Farms under Judge Michelle Billings! It was a great time and we had a lot of fun seeing friends and just being at the dog show. Mojito took 1st (of 1) in open... and Gretel took 1st (of 1) in 12-18 mos. No farther for either of them, but we still had a really great time. Congratulations to all the winners, we look forward to seeing you at the next show!

Holy cow did I ever enjoy the Terre Haute show!

       April 21 and 22nd Gretel, Mojito, and Rudy (the Tibetian Spaniel I am handling) ...and myself :) all traveled to Terre Haute, IN for a lovely but CHILLY time! Saturday Mojito took 1st (of 2) in the open class and finished Reserve Winner's Dog. Gretel took 1st (of 1) in the 12-18 mos class but her attitude in the ring is back! My happy tail flying about little girl was back in true form this weekend so win or not I am thrilled! Mojito has yet AGAIN gone bonkers over a girl in heat (Juno this time) and has dropped weight AGAIN, lol... seriously one track mind in that little dog :P Rudy wasn't feeling well Saturday but gave it his best and finished 3rd in the open class (of 3) but I am proud of him for trying so hard for me. On Sunday Mojito took 1st (of 1) in open but no farther, Gretel took 1st (of 1) in 12-18 mos but no farther. Mr. Rudy, feeling 100% and back in the game, took Res. Winners to the major! Good Boy Rudy! Aside from the dogs, I had a fabulous time hanging out with everyone... Tibbie Ladies, lunch was a real pleasure! :) I had so much fun last weekend, I still feel that truly enjoying this sport is all about being surrounded by fabulous people who make it a great day win or lose.

Welcome two boys from Ally by Lonnie!

    Ally has blessed us this morning (April 4th) with two lovely boys! They look to be black tris, not sure if they'll be longcoat or smooth at this point. They are already rambunctious and giving Ally all kinds of trouble. Great sign for show dogs! :) Look for more information and pictures on these boys coming soon!

Had a great time at the Louisville, KY cluster this year!

March 17 and 18th Mojito and Gretel and I showed in Louisville, KY and had such a great time :) Sat. Mojito took 4th of 5 in open class, and Gretel took 1st in 12-18 mos (of 1) but no farther. On Sunday Mojito took 2nd of 5 in open, and Gretel took 1st in the 12-18 mo. class but no farther again. Another weekend at the dog show! :) So many friends were present, and it was so great to see everyone! Congratulations to all the winners, it was wonderful to see you all and show with you. Always such a pleasure! See you at the next show!
