Yet another great weekend for True Shot! Wyatt was BOW on Saturday for a 3 point major win! That makes his second major and could not have made me more proud. As if that wasn't enough, his Sire, CH Mojito, was BOV on Sat. and showed well in Group. Sunday Wyatt was WD (no bitches that day) for another point toward his CH title. Mojito was not shown Sunday. Huge thank you to everyone who helped me and made everything possible! It was wonderful, as always, to see all my friends and can't wait to come back next year!

July 14th in Southaven, MS was another fun day in the ring for True Shot! CH Mojito was Select Dog for yet another point toward his GCH title! I'm just so proud of Mo, his willingness to please, love for everyone he meets, and super studly showy attitude. Even more so that he is passing it along to his pups, and I now see it in son Wyatt and daughter Joy. Wyatt was 2nd (of 2) in bred-by class, but showed his little adorable heart out. So thankful to my wonderful friend Jessica Rentfro for showing Mojito for me in a bind, and adding another point to the tally. As always, it was such a pleasure to visit with everyone. Hope to see you all at the Crab Orchard Kennel Club show in Marion, IL! Here we go again July 6th and 7th in Sedalia, MO! Saturday Wyatt was awarded WD for another point toward his CH title! Just a happy go lucky showy little man as always! So proud of him. Even gave the judge kisses on the table! LOL Such a ham :) Sunday I had a conflict and was unable to make his ring time. Had a great time with friends, so blessed to be at a dog show! Thanks to everyone who helped me out and congratulations to all the winners! See you next weekend :)

Thank you so much to Judge Terri Lyddon for this amazing win!
I am still overwhelmed by the results of the Land of Lincoln Chihuahua specialty in Lincoln, IL on June 29 and 30! Saturday, under respected Breeder/Judge Mrs. Terri Lyddon, Wyatt was awarded 1st in the Bred-By class (of 7) ...which blew my mind! My goal was to bring home a ribbon from that class at all! But that was just the tip of the iceberg. He went on to be awarded Winner's Dog, for a FIVE POINT MAJOR!!! I was absolutely floored. But it didn't stop there. He was then awarded Best of Winners... which is an amazing feat at a specialty with some of the top breeders in the country in attendance. I was beside myself, as I respect the people I was showing against more than I can express. BUT THEN... just when I couldn't smile more, he was awarded Best Longcoat Bred-by Exhibitor, and BEST BRED BY EXHIBITOR IN SPECIALTY SHOW! For me, words cannot express how touched, honored, and blessed I am by this award. To have a dog who is my first bred-by, that means so very much to me recognized in such a way, is breathtaking. Not only that, but the Best Smoothcoat Bred-by Exhibitor that he beat for the title was the Best of Variety Smoothcoat, who is a Canadian Multi BIS bitch, who I happen to feel is a very very beautiful chihuahua. I was shockingly composed... until I found out that Wyatt's registered name, with my kennel name, will be engraved on the Gill and Edith Sykes Bred-By trophy held by the Land of Lincoln Chihuahua Club. That was it for me. I cannot thank everyone enough who made this possible. Club members, all who organized and helped with the show, Judge Terri Lyddon, my mentors, friends, supporters, all who have helped me get to this point! I appreciate you so sincerely. On Sunday Judge Mrs. Marjorie Underwood awarded Wyatt 4th (of 8) in Bred-By... Still a great win! I will be glowing from this year's Land of Lincoln Chi Specialty for a while to come! I had a wonderful weekend visiting with my chihuahua family. I am so so very blessed to be welcomed by such a great group of people. I was able to watch my wonderful friends win awards on their dogs and share in their joy as well. I am so thankful to you all for your supportive spirit! I can't say enough, I left feeling awestricken by the wonderful people I have been allowed to work with, and just so blessed. I love you guys, can't wait til next year!
-A very Blessed Andrea :) I am beyond excited to announce we have been blessed yet again with a beautiful litter of boys by our own Am/Can CH Laud Mister Mojito out of Lost Island's Twisted Sister "Gretel"! The boys are growing like weeds and adorable as ever. We hope to see wonderful temperament, as this pair have the best temperaments in a group of dogs with great temperaments... and Mojito is known for passing his along. Gretel's lovely rear angulation, Mo's topline and side gait, Gretel's large dome... all should make for a litter to watch out for in a show ring near you. :) Cheers! -Andrea I couldn't be MORE thrilled to relay the results of the Corydon, IN show to you this year :) My bred-by boy, True Shot's Why So Blue "Wyatt" earned his first two CH points this weekend! On Sat. Wyatt was BOW for a point, and even went back in the ring with a friend and was such a great boy. Sunday he was WD for another point, and was just so much fun to show. These are my first points from the bred-by class as well and Wyatt's first two points! So very proud of my little man and excited to show him to you all at the Land of Lincoln Chi Specialty! Had a fantastic weekend in Terre Haute this year. Wyatt was a great boy in the ring, we had a great time and brought home res. WD both days. So proud of my little dude! I had so much fun visiting with friends! It was a cold and interesting weekend, but still so glad to have been there. Until next time folks <3 -Andrea and the True Shot Gang
Am/Can CH Laud Mister Mojito goes BOV! Thank you Judge Richard Mullen!
Well what a weekend down south this spring! Saturday started out well with CH Mojito taking BOS to a lovely girl for another GCH point and Gretel taking BOW for another point toward her CH title! Wyatt took 2nd (of 3) in bred-by, but showed beautifully and I was just so proud of them. But then, on Sunday, CH Mojito went BOV for a 4 point GCH Major and a CH defeat! SO proud of how studly and wonderful Mojito was on Sunday. Gretel was awarded BOW again for another CH point, and Wyatt was Res. WD to a very lovely boy and showed so well. I had a fantastic time! As if that wasn't enough, my boston terrier client, Jive, was awarded BOW to finish his CH title! To top it all off, I was so very Gretel goes BOW for another CH point! impressed with the folks down in Alabama. I met some wonderful people, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The staff was great and everyone around me was so pleasant I just enjoyed them so very much. I am so SO glad I made the trip down, and will likely visit the south much more often after such a great experience. A HUGE thank you to all my friends who went out of their way to help me, I appreciate you folks more than you know. It was a pleasure spending time with everyone, and congratulations to all the winners! -Andrea Wyatt with his ribbons and blanket! Well what a weekend in Louisville this year! Our Wyatt was such a rockstar we are thrilled with him! On Sunday he was awarded 1st in the bred-by class (of 4) and went on to receive Res. WD to the 5 point major! Many thanks to our friend Tammy for being so patient to take this photo of Wyatt half asleep after all the excitement! Lol :) I am always so very proud of all the True Shot gang in the ring. Temperament is so important to me and I love being able to show off their wonderful outgoing and showy personalities to everyone. Win or lose I love giving people a new perspective on this breed! I always see snappy rotten little chis and hear "Well- that's a chihuahua for ya" ...and I love proving people wrong. The best part is ALL my dogs are this way! I am dedicated to only breeding dogs with wonderful temperaments and I can't wait to show everyone what they can be like :) I hope decades from now to have the True Shot lines known for their lovely personality. Off my soapbox now ;) I had a great time this weekend visiting with all my wonderful friends and made a few new ones along the way. We even spent some time finally getting to meet in person the lovely lady responsible for naming Wyatt and learning more about the AKC's agility program. I hope everyone had as much fun this weekend as we did! Much love to everyone, -Andrea and Wyatt March 9th and 10th found us traveling through the murky weather to Columbia and having a great time! CH Mojito competed against 7 other specials and while he did not place it was so heartwarming for me to see him so proud to be back in the ring again. I'm not sure I will ever have the heart to stop taking him with me now and then. His son, Wyatt, was awarded Res. WD both days and takes after his father with his wonderful outgoing personality and love for the show ring. I am always so proud of my gang, win or lose! It was a pleasure as always to visit with friends and wonderful to make new ones! I hope to see you all again at the Louisville cluster!
Best wishes as always, -Andrea and Juno's 3 girls from the couch :) |
