Mojito and Gretel at the Specialty
Rachel Longworth and I made the trek to Lincoln, IL this year for the Land of Lincoln Specialty on July 3rd. Let me tell you, the dogs we saw there are AMAZING! What a treat to view some of the top dogs in the country. Absolutely had a fantastic time! I met some familiar faces and some new, and it was as always a great pleasure :) I am just so pleased with Mojito for taking 1st in his class! The two dogs against him were awesome. Mo showed beautifully in the class ring for me but was a little tired and disinterested in bait when we went back in for Winner's Dog. I learned not to give him any breakfast at all before a show this week and I also learned the way I'm stacking him makes his topline look arched :/ I'll have to fix that!
The videos and pictures are such great learning tools and its great to have such wonderful memories preserved. Thank you so much to everyone who made this year's LoL specialty such a pleasure for us to attend!
