Monkey has blessed us with 3 beautiful boys on Aug 19, 2011... they are growing like weeds and look like they're going to be amazing pups!  We are looking forward to watching these pups mature... and hope you are too!  Keep an eye on our Available Now page for updates on the boys  :)

        Well if you love showing dogs and learning about the trade, you couldn't have been more happy than you would have been in my shoes at the Marion show.  Mo showed... less than his capacity on Saturday, but showed beautifully on Sunday, and we took 2nd in the open class (of 2 dogs) both days.  Little Gretel showed in the B match Saturday evening for her first time in the ring and was a perfect little girl!  She is the first dog I have trained to show myself... and I am so proud of her!  I had a fantastic time!  Yet again I am amazed at the friendliness of everyone around me.  It was truly a pleasure, as always, and I enjoyed every moment from setup to tear down.  I was allowed to outside ring steward for a bit, which was a fantastic learning experience, asked to handle a Boston Terrier and Papillon (which, by the way, makes a new handler feel great!), and met dozens of wonderful, helpful, warm people.  I am enjoying this sport so very much!  I'd like to encourage anyone with an interest in showing dogs to give it a try, it may seem tough and nerve wracking, but the rewards are worth the effort! 

    After a few months of attending meetings and getting to know the club members, I have been voted into the COKC in southern IL!  I am thrilled.  I have enjoyed the club immensely so far, and all the members have been fantastic.  Its wonderful to be surrounded by people who fully understand your love and commitment to your furry family members, responsible pet ownership, and breeding to improve a breed.  I can't say enough about how great the club has already been to me.  What a friendly, welcoming, and supportive group!  Thanks so much for allowing me to join up everyone!  :)
