![]() Mojito takes reserve winner's at the specialty my 3rd time ever showing a dog. Mojito, Gretel, and I made the journey down to Murfreesboro, TN on July 10th to visit the Nashville Chihuahua Club Specialty. Once again I was amazed by the warm reception and friendly atmosphere of all the breeder/exhibitors! It is such a blessing to be so welcomed and it adds so much to the experience of entering the show world. I had a fantastic time meeting all the people we did in TN. Mojito and I entered the class ring and Mo was electric! He was a live wire, lunging at the lead and barely able to contain himself! Oops :/ I'm afraid that one can be attributed to my nerves! :) Its all still so new to me I really get a rush from it. The 2nd time we entered the ring Mo (I should say I!) was a bit more collected, but still chomping at the bit. We both had a blast. It was such an honor to be awarded Reserve Winners over such awesome competition. Thank you so much to Carl Yochum for awarding that distinction to Mo! Time for a short break, and then off to the show again! Hope to see you all soon! Congratulations to everyone who showed with us that day!

![]() Mojito and Gretel at the Specialty Rachel Longworth and I made the trek to Lincoln, IL this year for the Land of Lincoln Specialty on July 3rd. Let me tell you, the dogs we saw there are AMAZING! What a treat to view some of the top dogs in the country. Absolutely had a fantastic time! I met some familiar faces and some new, and it was as always a great pleasure :) I am just so pleased with Mojito for taking 1st in his class! The two dogs against him were awesome. Mo showed beautifully in the class ring for me but was a little tired and disinterested in bait when we went back in for Winner's Dog. I learned not to give him any breakfast at all before a show this week and I also learned the way I'm stacking him makes his topline look arched :/ I'll have to fix that! The videos and pictures are such great learning tools and its great to have such wonderful memories preserved. Thank you so much to everyone who made this year's LoL specialty such a pleasure for us to attend! Congratulations to everyone! Best wishes to you all and Happy 4th from True Shot! ![]() Lost Island's Twisted Sister True Shot is proud to present the latest lady to join our family! Gretel comes to us from Tina Horth of Lost Island Chihuahuas. She is a beautiful irish marked chocolate with a lotta top skull and even more personality! Gretel is truly a little joy. I'm working on teaching her to show and she loves it! She is one showy little motivated girl. Look for some lovely chocolate puppies in 2012 and Miss Gretel in the show ring! Thank you so much to Tina for trusting us with her! Best wishes and have a safe holiday! ~Andrea |
