Well I've tried my hand in the show ring, and I must say, I LOVE it! We had a fantastic time, Mo was incredible, I was NERVOUS! It went over well tho, Mo did his thing despite me being a totally useless lump standing beside him, lol :) By our 3rd pass in the ring my nerves left me and I realized, its not that big of a deal, and its really fun! Now its time to buckle down, get the details ironed out in handling class, and get going with Mo's show career. He earned his first 2 points toward his American Champion on Sunday! Our next adventure, the Land of Lincoln Specialty in Lincoln, IL on July 3rd. I know he hasn't fully matured into his head yet, but his structure is awesome, movement is right on, and we'll soon know what the specialty judges have to say about him. If we do well, Awesome! If not, we'll be back next year :)
Congratulations to those who did well in Paducah! To Rachel Longworth who's dog Ace took his class over some tough competition! To Connie Mitchell who's bitch took Best of Breed over Mojito that day. Great work, it was fun competing with you, and best of luck at future shows :)
